Creative Mind + Unique Perspective

I grew up telling stories as a little boy on my Grandmama’s screened-in porch, to escape the sweltering heat of the North Georgia summer. Storytelling was as much a part of our daily lives as sweet tea and fried green tomatoes.. Those afternoons spinning tales are my favorite childhood memories; they taught me to laugh heartily, to think critically, and ultimately to connect with those around me. They are lessons I carry into every aspect of my work.

It’s no wonder I make my living telling stories.

I currently serve as the Head of Marketing and Communications, North America for South African Tourism, where I work alongside an extraordinary team to share the Rainbow Nation’s tourism story with curious and intrepid travelers across the United States and Canada. Together, we connect these travelers with a destination where adventure, culture, and natural beauty awaken the spirit and leave a lasting impression.

Recognized for building strong brands throug content development, event production, and strategic partnership integration, I’ve been honored as one of the travel and hospitality industry's "Top 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales & Marketing,” recognized as a “Rising Star: Destination Marketing” and — in a plot twist I cherish — included among “New York’s Funniest People.”

I’ve also lived many stories onstage and on screen. As an actor, I've appeared on NBC and Comedy Central, and performed at New York City Center, Gotham Comedy Club and Upright Citizens Brigade. You may have also seen me on stages across the country as Cogsworth in Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Amos in Chicago, or as Edna Turnblad in the national tour of Hairspray — roles that remain among my favorites.

While I'm never shy about telling my own story, I've found my greatest joy in helping others tell theirs. Collaborating to create stories that reflect a unique point of view and forge authentic human connection — that’s the kind of work that still makes me want to jump out of bed in the morning.
