I toured the country for nearly two years in the mother of all musical comedies Hairspray and loved celebrating individuality, diversity, and body positivity with a healthy dose of humor every night.
I made my City Center "Encores!" debut with the 20th anniversary production of Fiorello! alongside Tony-Winner Shuler Hensley and a cast of musical theatre all-stars, directed by the terrific Gary Griffin.
My first network TV credit was Smash, NBC’s musical drama about the making of a Marilyn Monroe bio-musical (executive produced by Steven Spielberg). I was cast to play an enthusiastic fan who rushed to the stage door to share his review of the show with 'Bombshell' star Ivy (the wonderful Megan Hilty).
I had a blast working with director Carmen Pelaez and everybody at Gardenia Films on the short film, A Queen Without His Crown. I played a senior staffer to a closeted gay senator who actively legislates against the LGBT community while struggling to reconcile his double life.
South Africa was the first destination to be featured on The Celebrity Apprentice. Contestants including Lil Jon, Marilu Henner and Penn Jillette participated in a challenge that showcased South Africa's adventure and romance offerings. I served as a travel expert to evaluate their presentations.
I’ve recently been working on the new musical, Admissions. My track includes playing a goofy, football-loving dad, and a prim and proper college tutor. You can hear one of the songs I recorded for the demo by clicking here.
Best known for playing Larry on Three's Company for seven seasons, Richard Kline is a stage and screen actor and award-winning director. Joining his on-camera comedy class where we focused on using timing, pace, and physicality to create unique characters was a total blast.
